About this opportunity
The Florida Department of State is seeking to renew its annual subscription to EBSCO Serials, which provide essential access to subject matter that state employees need to perform required research for work-related projects, as well as to support the State Library's interlibrary loan services. The Department has determined that EBSCO Serials are only available from a single source, EBSCO Information Services, based on the requirements specified in Florida Statutes Chapter 257.04(4). The term of the contract is July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023, and the estimated dollar amount is $51,896.54. No other vendors have been identified that can provide the necessary subscriptions to meet the Department's needs. The funding for this purchase will come from the Department's budget.
The procurement is restricted to a single source, EBSCO Information Services, as no other vendors have been identified that can provide the required EBSCO Serials subscriptions. There are no set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. The current incumbent vendor is EBSCO Information Services, and the Department does not require any existing infrastructure or technology integration. The estimated value of the contract is $51,896.54.
