About this opportunity
The Colorado Department of Corrections is soliciting documented quotes for cameras, accessories, and components to upgrade the security camera system at SCCF, with quotes due November 3, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. MST. No set-asides are identified in this solicitation.
Bidders must quote 76 5MP outdoor fixed dome AI cameras, 30 12MP outdoor fisheye cameras, 2 20MP multi-sensor adjustable domes, 3 20MP 180-degree outdoor cameras, 5 5MP dual-sensor AI cameras, 15 round white mounting boxes, 3 indoor 1-port GE PoE extenders, one indoor IEEE 802.3AT 95W UPoE injector, and 13,000 feet of CAT6E plenum cable, priced per unit with a total project cost. Equivalent-quality products are permitted if listed brands or specifications are unavailable, subject to compatibility approval. CDOC staff perform installation. Delivery is to La Vista Correctional Facility, 1410 West 13th Street, Pueblo, Colorado 81003. Pricing must be all-inclusive, with no additional shipping, surcharges, or taxes payable by CDOC.
Awarded bidders must register through CORE Vendor Self Service, provide proof of Colorado Secretary of State good standing, and submit insurance certificates before purchase order execution, including commercial general liability of $1,000,000 per occurrence. Bidders must also accept enhanced criminal background investigations and consent-to-search authorizations for facility access. Exhibit E requires disclosure of any performance outside the United States or Colorado. Failure to deliver on three separate occasions may result in disqualification from future solicitations for three years or indefinitely.
The purchase order is a one-time purchase with up to four one-year renewals, not to exceed five years, at CDOC's sole discretion and contingent on appropriated funds. No order quantities or dollar amounts are guaranteed. Pricing is firm during the initial term, though CDOC may consider annual increases not exceeding 2.5% per fiscal year, subject to mutual agreement. Award goes to the responsible bidder whose acceptable quote is most advantageous to CDOC, with price/cost as the primary consideration alongside sample quality and delivery lead time. Past performance may be considered.
Written inquiries are due October 29, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. MST, with responses estimated for November 2, 2026. The notice of intent to award is estimated for November 4, 2026, and purchase order start is November 9, 2026 or later.
