DNR FIELD DIVIDER MAINTENANCE
Ohio Department of Natural Resources is soliciting bids for field divider maintenance across five Wildlife Areas (Delaware, Muskingum, Putnam, Sandusky, and Wayne counties) with proposals due March 18, 2026; mandatory site visits at all five locations between March 3 and March 6, 2026 are a condition of responsiveness. The scope covers felling, herbicide treatment, and removal of woody vegetation greater than five inches diameter; herbicide treatment and/or felling of invasive trees and shrubs less than five inches DBH; herbicide treatment of invasive herbaceous vegetation; and herbicide treatment of sod-forming grasses within designated field dividers. The end state is brushy field dividers with only native shrubs remaining. Work may occur year-round depending on material size and ground conditions, which vary and may include wet and poorly drained soil. Extensions will be considered only for delays caused by unfavorable ground or weather conditions. Attendance at a minimum of one mandatory site visit is required for responsiveness. Site visits are scheduled at Delaware Wildlife Area Shooting Range (Ashley) on March 4 at 9:00 a.m.; Killbuck Marsh Wildlife Area (Shreve) on March 4 at 1:00 p.m.; Wolf Creek Wildlife Area (Malta) on March 3 at 1:00 p.m.; Pickerel Creek Wildlife Area (Vickery) on March 5 at 1:00 p.m.; and Woodland Trails Wildlife Area (Camden) on March 6 at 1:00 p.m. The State will not assume responsibility for information missed by offerors arriving after a site visit commences; attendance will be recorded.
