About this opportunity
Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) in Dallas County, Texas, is seeking to procure 6-inch, 80 grit 3M Cubitron II Abrasive Sandpaper, specifically a box of 50 discs (Solicitation #2097442). This procurement opportunity requires vendors to submit bids through the Bonfire registration platform, with proposals due by January 16, 2026. The procurement follows strict purchase order terms and conditions that mandate FOB Destination shipping with freight costs included in the overall price. Vendors must adhere to specific delivery requirements, understanding that failure to meet specified delivery timelines could result in contract rejection or default termination. Key submission requirements include providing comprehensive invoice documentation with specific details such as purchase order number, item descriptions, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals.
While no specific set-aside designations or disadvantaged enterprise requirements are explicitly mentioned in the documentation, vendors must comply with several critical requirements. Invoicing follows Net 30 payment terms, with payments processed 30 days from invoice or purchase order receipt. Vendors must provide commercial warranties covering merchantable quality and intended use, demonstrate compliance with equal employment opportunity provisions, and certify their stance regarding terrorist organizations and Israel boycott compliance. The contract will be governed under Texas law, with any potential legal proceedings seated in Dallas County. Though no specific award value or budget range is provided, vendors should anticipate providing competitive pricing for the specified abrasive sandpaper product while meeting DART's stringent operational and administrative requirements.

DART does not typically accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add terms. **Delivery Terms Notice -** Time and rate of deliveries are of the essence of this order. Seller's failure to deliver at the time and rate specified shall be the basis for rejection and default termination by the Authority (*Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority*). **Payment Terms Notice -** All vendors are advised that DART's payment terms are Net 30. Invoices shall be submitted (APInvoices@dart.org) in triplicate (one copy shall be marked 'Original"), unless otherwise specified, and shall contain the following information: purchase order number; item number; purchase order description of supplies, services, or construction; sizes; quantities; unit prices; and extended totals. In such event, the Seller shall be liable for damages, including the excess cost of reprocuring similar supplies or services or completing construction; provided that, if (i) it is determined for any reason that the Seller was not in default, or (ii) the Seller's failure to perform is without his and his subcontractor's control, fault, or negligence, the termination shall be deemed to be a termination for convenience under paragraph 12. As used in this provision, the term "subcontractor" and "subcontractors" means subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers at any level.
