About this opportunity
Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking to procure 6-inch, 3M Cubitron 11 Abrasives Grade 120 discs, packaged in boxes of 50 units, through a competitive procurement process in Dallas County, Texas. The contract opportunity, identified by solicitation number 2097029, was posted on December 9, 2025, with a response deadline of December 17, 2025. Vendors must complete registration on the Bonfire platform to access full bid details and submit responses. The procurement requires strict adherence to DART's purchase order terms and conditions, with specific emphasis on delivery performance and shipping requirements. Vendors must quote prices using FOB Destination terms, including freight costs in the overall pricing, and understand that failure to meet specified delivery timelines could result in order rejection or default termination. Evaluation will likely focus on vendor compliance with technical specifications, pricing, delivery capabilities, and adherence to contractual terms.
No specific set-aside designations or restrictions for disadvantaged enterprises were explicitly mentioned in the available documentation. Vendors must meet several compliance requirements, including not being listed on the Texas Comptroller's list of companies contracting with Foreign Terrorist Organizations and certifying they do not boycott Israel. Payment terms are structured as Net 30, with invoices to be submitted electronically to APInvoices@dart.org and including detailed line-item information. While no specific budget range was provided, the solicitation suggests this is a relatively small procurement for standard operational supplies. Vendors must be prepared to provide commercial warranties comparable to those offered to other customers and understand that the contract will be governed by Texas law, with any disputes adjudicated in Dallas County. The procurement is subject to the Authority's standard terms, which include the Contracting Officer's ability to make written modifications to the order with potential equitable price or schedule adjustments.

--- ***BONFIRE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED TO ACCESS DETAILS / BIDTABLE*** *To access details / BidTable, please initiate the "Prepare Your Submission" process at the bottom of the page -- Thereafter, locate the in-browser BidTable window and scroll right for project details and vendor response fields.* --- **PURCHASE ORDER TERMS AND CONDITIONS** -- All purchase orders are subject to Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority's Terms and Conditions. The complete PO Terms and Conditions PDF is available for download in the "Supporting Documentation" section below. **Freight Terms Notice -** Please ensure that all bids/quotes reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with the freight cost included in the overall price. DART does not typically accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add terms. **Delivery Terms Notice -** Time and rate of deliveries are of the essence of this order. Seller's failure to deliver at the time and rate specified shall be the basis for rejection and default termination by the Authority (*Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority*). **Payment Terms Notice -** All vendors are advised that DART's payment terms are Net 30. Invoices shall be submitted (APInvoices@dart.org) in triplicate (one copy shall be marked 'Original"), unless otherwise specified, and shall contain the following information: purchase order number; item number; purchase order description of supplies, services, or construction; sizes; quantities; unit prices; and extended totals. Unless otherwise specified, payment will be made on partial deliveries accepted by the Authority when the amount due on such deliveries so warrants. *Invoices will be paid 30 days from receipt of the invoice or 30 days from receipt of the order, whichever is later, unless other payment terms have been agreed upon in writing.* **Termination for Default Notice -** The Contracting Officer may by written notice terminate this order, in whole or in part, for failure of the Seller to perform any of the provisions hereof within the time periods specified. In such event, the Seller shall be liable for damages, including the excess cost of reprocuring similar supplies or services or completing construction; provided that, if (i) it is determined for any reason that the Seller was not in default, or (ii) the Seller's failure to perform is without his and his subcontractor's control, fault, or negligence, the termination shall be deemed to be a termination for convenience under paragraph 12. As used in this provision, the term "subcontractor" and "subcontractors" means subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers at any level.
