Digital Media Production

This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is issued by the Washington State Historical Society (WSHS) to solicit proposals from contractors interested in providing digital media and audiovisual production services for the Washington State History Museum's Great Hall in Tacoma, Washington. The project involves replacing content from two existing digital interactive exhibits and upgrading an audio experience within the museum. Contractors must demonstrate a minimum of five multimedia projects for museums or visitor centers with budgets over $200,000. The period of performance is tentatively scheduled to begin on or about April 26, 2024 and end on January 31, 2025. The overall budget for this project is $207,000, which must include travel and per diem expenses. The RFQ outlines the required qualifications, submittal requirements, and evaluation criteria. Proposers must submit their qualifications packets by April 12, 2024. WSHS reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and will provide notification of the award decision to all participating proposers. Debriefing conferences will be available for unsuccessful proposers.

The RFQ does not specify any set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. The document also does not mention any incumbent vendors or current contractors, nor does it reference any existing infrastructure or technology that requires integration. The total available budget for this project is $207,000.
