The scope encompasses refrigeration equipment, freezer units, cooking appliances, sanitation and warewashing equipment, ventilation and fire safety systems, and ice machines across 30 pieces of catalogued commercial kitchen equipment from manufacturers including Hobart, Vulcan, Blodgett, Hoshizaki, and AccuTemp. Bidders must hold Maryland HVACR licensing and provide state or county business licenses, plus at least three references demonstrating a minimum of three years' cumulative experience.

The contract term is one year with no option periods, commencing upon Notice to Proceed, with a $50,000 maximum cost ceiling and monthly billing. All parts and materials are billable at actual cost with no markup allowed; travel time is the contractor's sole responsibility and must be absorbed in the bid. The award will be made to the lowest responsive bid from a responsible bidder.

Questions are due October 21, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. A site visit is available by request with the procurement officer by October 20 at 2:00 p.m. Public bid opening is November 5 at 9:00 a.m. via Google Meet. Contractors must maintain Commercial General Liability insurance ($500,000 combined single limit per occurrence, $1.5 million annual aggregate) and Worker's Compensation insurance ($1 million per occurrence), with the State listed as an additional insured.
