The Department of Fire Services (DFS) for the state of Massachusetts is issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the procurement of tires, wheels, rims, valve stems, and associated tire-related products and services. The contract will cover a wide range of vehicle types, including passenger vehicles, light-duty trucks, medium-duty vehicles, heavy-duty vehicles, specialty vehicles, off-road vehicles, industrial vehicles, farming vehicles, tractors, backhoes, UTVs, and trailers. The required services include dismounting and mounting of tires and tubes, flat repairs, tire rotation, wheel alignment, wheel balancing, and tire disposal. Bidders are required to provide discounts from the manufacturer's retail pricing for products and hourly rates or per-unit pricing for the requested services. The RFQ does not specify any set-aside requirements, and the Department of Fire Services reserves the right to award multiple contracts, with the option to limit the number of contracts awarded.

The Department of Fire Services does not provide any information about incumbent vendors or current contractors. The RFQ also does not specify the possible award values or budget ranges for this procurement. Interested vendors are expected to submit their responses by the due date of November 4, 2015, and the contract term and any renewal options are not explicitly stated in the document.
