Key deliverables include removing the existing chemical injection assembly vault, salvaging existing chemical injection quills, creating a new containment concrete pad with yellow-painted curbing, and covering surrounding ground with landscape stone. The new aboveground assembly will include components such as pipes, fittings, chemical injections, and related appurtenances. Bid documents are available on the Seminole County website through the ProcureNow portal, with a proposal submission deadline of June 7, 2023, at 2:00 pm. A mandatory pre-proposal meeting was held on May 16, 2023, at 9:30 am, and the deadline for submitting questions was May 28, 2023. The Engineer's estimated project cost is $221,760.00, and bids will be opened via Zoom.

The project is supported by two key permits: a Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Permit to Construct PWS Components and an Environmental Resource Permit (ERP) Verification of Exemption. Liquidated damages are set at $500 per day, and construction progress payments will be subject to a 5% retainage. Prospective bidders are explicitly warned not to contact Seminole County staff or officials other than the specified contact person. Contractors must also comply with E-Verify system registration for new employees, public records laws, and various statutory requirements related to public entity crime regulations and local purchasing codes.
