Council Chamber Video System

The Town of Riverdale Park, Maryland is seeking proposals from qualified companies to design, develop, and install upgraded audio, video, and sound system equipment in the Town Hall Council Chambers. The objective is to provide live and recorded cable broadcast capabilities, as well as interoperability with remote participation platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meets. The scope of work includes new audio and video recording equipment, video production equipment for broadcasting, an automated camera system, microphones, video controllers, cable broadcast capabilities, and online streaming capabilities. A mandatory pre-proposal meeting is scheduled for June 24, 2024, and a site visit on June 28, 2024 is strongly encouraged. Proposals are due by July 12, 2024. The Town prefers a single contractor responsible for the entire upgrade and implementation, but will consider a team of contractors. Evaluation criteria include the contractor's qualifications, proposed approach, schedule, and pricing.
