About this opportunity

The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities issued RFQ #DBH0000288 for a web-based, hosted Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to serve six campus-based hospitals, with proposals originally due February 17, 2012; however, the solicitation has been cancelled and will be reissued.

The cancelled solicitation sought a CMMS to manage 531 buildings encompassing 5.3 million square feet across the agency's hospital campuses. The system was required to support multiple browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome) and accommodate up to 30 trained users per hospital plus 20 additional remote-access users via handheld devices. The solution had to incorporate Joint Commission standards and healthcare-specific applications with automatic notifications of requirement updates, interface with NFPA Public Education resources and NECplus.org, and integrate with Microsoft Office applications and PDF reporting functionality with emphasis on customized reporting.

Data conversion from the legacy MP2 6.0 Oracle Edition system — which contained approximately 20,000 work orders — was required to migrate assets, preventive maintenance schedules, tasks, work order history, materials and inventory, and uploaded documents. The cost structure specified a fixed and firm price for the first contract year covering the core CMMS application, Service Request Module, mobile handheld functionality, training, and data conversion, with four optional one-year renewal periods at prices equal to year one. A performance bond and letter of credit were required.

Questions were due January 20, 2012, with answers posted January 27, 2012. DBHDD determined that changing direction and requirements necessitated cancellation of this RFQ. Interested vendors should monitor the Georgia Procurement Registry for the reissued solicitation. Submission and viewing of bids must occur through the Team Georgia Marketplace.
