Statement of Objective:

This competitive solicitation is an Invitation to Negotiate (ITN) with the Florida International University Board of Trustees (hereinafter referred to as "FIU" or as the "University") to enable FIU to enter into a contract with a Successful Respondent for an integrated software system to manage the curriculum process and produce an online catalog on behalf of the Office of the Faculty Senate and Office of the Registrar, respectfully. The initial term of the contract will be for three (3) years and FIU will have the option to renew for two (2) additional two (2) year periods.

All submissions must include a Higher Education Community Vendor Assessment Toolkit (HECVAT) v.3 and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) v. 2.1. Submissions missing these two documents will not be accepted and cannot be evaluated.

This is a competitive solicitation for an integrated comprehensive software solution that shares information with the Student Information System (SIS) and streamlines the curriculum and catalog production process, which enables the University to enter into an agreement with a Successful Respondent who can provide said software for management of its curriculum and catalog processes.

The Successful Respondent will work with representatives from FIU's Office of the Faculty Senate, Office of the Registrar, Office of Academic Planning and Accountability, and Division of Information Technology. The Successful Respondent will provide and implement an integrated curriculum and catalog management software system that integrates with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, FIU's current SIS. The system must be able to provide a singular, paperless system for workflow, historical tracking of curricular changes, housing for official current curriculum, the ability to produce a web-compatible catalog, and the ability to feed FIU's Panther Degree Audit process. The system should have the capability for automated notifications based upon pre-established settings and triggers. The system must utilize the latest technology standards in the curriculum management industry as a minimum.

Additionally, the system must have the ability to extract certain data and add additional data, as necessary, to create a student handbook with the same functionality as the catalog, such as searchability and on-line/real-time information.

The Successful Respondent must have a robust and well documented API (Application Program Interface) with real-time integration and interfacing capabilities with other internal and external systems.
