About this opportunity
Research Triangle Regional Public Transportation Authority dba GoTriangle is requesting proposals for the supply, delivery, installation, and related services of commercial-grade office furniture, with proposals due July 17, 2026 at 2:00 PM North Carolina time.
The scope includes new, pre-owned, or mixed furniture across multiple categories: guest chairs, meeting and round tables, lounge seating components, task and conference room chairs, workstations, acoustic privacy screens, occasional tables, benches, tablet arm chairs, and recliners. GoTriangle will evaluate proposals based on best overall value considering compliance, functionality, quality, and cost. All furniture must be delivered and installed within thirty calendar days after issuance of a Purchase Order. Proposals may incorporate any combination of new or pre-owned furniture provided all products comply with specified requirements and performance standards.
The initial contract term is two years with a potential one-year extension at GoTriangle's sole discretion, for a maximum term not exceeding three years. No guaranteed minimum purchase commitment is stated. Pricing shall remain firm for the duration of the current contract term, with price adjustment requests permitted in connection with any renewal term upon written notice at least sixty days prior to expiration, subject to GoTriangle review and written approval.
Evaluation criteria are weighted as follows: Experience (40%), Cost Proposal (30%), Delivery (20%), and Method (10%). Subcontracting is not permitted; contractual responsibility rests solely with one firm or legal entity. All contractors must comply with North Carolina E-Verify requirements, Iran Divestment Act certification, Israel Boycott Act certification, and demonstrate non-debarment status. The contractor must secure comprehensive insurance including Commercial General Liability, Worker's Compensation, Automobile Liability, Umbrella/Excess Liability, and Professional Liability with specified minimum limits. A minimum one-year workmanship warranty on all installation work and full product warranties with timely repair or replacement of defective items at no additional cost are required. Liquidated damages of $100 per calendar day apply for failure to complete work by the required completion date. Proposals are submitted via email to Dean Nunnally, Procurement Officer at Dnunnally@gotriangle.org. No pre-offer conference will be conducted.
