About this file

This Addendum 1 document modifies RFP No. 1012-27-002 issued by the Research Triangle Regional Public Transportation Authority (GoTriangle) in North Carolina for the supply, delivery, installation, and related services of commercial-grade office furniture. The scope encompasses multiple furniture categories including guest chairs, meeting and round tables, lounge seating components, task and conference room chairs, workstations, acoustic privacy screens, occasional tables, benches, tablet arm chairs, and recliners. Proposals were due July 17, 2026 at 2:00 PM North Carolina time. All furniture must be delivered and installed within thirty calendar days following Purchase Order issuance. The initial contract term is two years with a potential one-year extension at GoTriangle's sole discretion, for a maximum term not exceeding three years. No pre-offer conference will be conducted.

GoTriangle will evaluate proposals based on weighted criteria: Experience (40%), Cost Proposal (30%), Delivery (20%), and Method (10%), selecting awards based on best overall value considering compliance, functionality, quality, and cost. Pricing shall remain firm for the current contract term, with price adjustment requests permitted for renewal terms upon sixty days' written notice and GoTriangle approval. Proposals may incorporate new, pre-owned, or mixed furniture provided all products meet specified requirements. Subcontracting is prohibited; contractual responsibility rests with a single firm. Contractors must comply with North Carolina E-Verify requirements, Iran Divestment Act certification, Israel Boycott Act certification, and demonstrate non-debarment status. Required insurance includes Commercial General Liability, Worker's Compensation, Automobile Liability, Umbrella/Excess Liability, and Professional Liability with specified minimum limits. A minimum one-year workmanship warranty on installation and full product warranties with timely repair or replacement at no additional cost are mandatory. Liquidated damages of $100 per calendar day apply for failure to meet the completion deadline. Proposals should be submitted via email to Dean Nunnally, Procurement Officer at Dnunnally@gotriangle.org.
