This is a firm fixed-price, one-time purchase contract with no renewal option, and all bids must be submitted electronically through the County's eProcurement Portal. Pricing must be provided as separate firm prices for each line item, including unit costs, total costs, freight and shipping, and sales tax calculated at 9.25%, with bids evaluated on a lowest responsive, responsible bidder basis and pricing remaining valid for 365 days after the closing date.
Qualified vendors submitting bids are not subject to mandatory set-aside restrictions; however, a five percent preference deduction is available for bids from County of Orange Local Small Businesses (OCLSB) or Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE) certified by the State of California Department of General Services, with a maximum allowable preference deduction of $100,000.
