About this opportunity
The State of Utah Division of Purchasing, conducting through Wildlife Resources, is requesting bids for delivery of 3,750 tons of cobble rock (3–10 inches in size) to Turpin Parking Lot in Farmington Bay Wildlife Management Area under IFB BD26-75, with bids due June 8, 2026 and completion required by June 19, 2026.
The scope is limited to delivery and temporary placement of cobble rock; the contractor bears no responsibility for dike reinforcement labor. The delivery site is accessible via Glover's Lane near 1325 West in Farmington, approximately 3.5 miles from the main entrance. The contractor must coordinate road access with Wildlife Management Area managers, provide an estimated delivery schedule, and ensure safe transport without damage to existing infrastructure or the parking lot. Delivery may commence on or after May 20, 2026.
The contract term runs from award until June 19, 2026. The vendor must guarantee pricing for the duration of the delivery process; any price adjustment requests require at least 30 days' notice and supporting market analysis documentation, subject to approval by the Director of the Division of Purchasing. This IFB will result in a single contract award to the lowest cost responsive and responsible vendor.
All vendor questions must be submitted through the U3P system during the question-and-answer period; vendors are prohibited from communicating directly with procurement staff. Vendors must certify compliance with anti-boycott provisions and confirm they are not providing forced labor products. Award notifications do not constitute a binding contract until a fully executed purchase order or contract is received. The State reserves the right to cancel the award or solicitation in whole or part and may conduct discussions with responsive vendors for best and final offers prior to award.
