About this opportunity

The State of Utah Division of Purchasing, conducting procurement on behalf of the Wildlife Resources agency, is soliciting bids through Invitation for Bid (IFB) BD26-62 for the Moon Ridge Fencing Project in Northern Grand County. The procurement seeks a single contract award to the lowest cost responsive and responsible vendor to remove and on-site stack 14,850 feet of existing T-post and barbed wire fencing on Moon Ridge, followed by reconstruction of the same 14,850 feet of fencing using welded drill pipe and sucker rod materials. The awarded contractor will be responsible for all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete both the removal and reconstruction phases, with existing materials to be stacked adjacent to the fence line at a location determined by the agency and vendor. The contract term extends from March 15, 2026, through June 30, 2026, with the vendor required to guarantee pricing for the entire contract duration. While no mandatory site visit will be held prior to bidding, potential bidders are strongly encouraged to conduct independent site inspections to assess general and local conditions that may affect project costs, with the understanding that failure to inspect the site will not constitute grounds for post-award claims. The IFB was posted on March 6, 2026, with a bid due date of March 18, 2026.

The solicitation documents provided do not specify set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise restrictions, or incumbent vendor information. No existing infrastructure integration requirements, technology compatibility specifications, or detailed budget parameters are outlined in the available procurement materials. Interested vendors should refer to the complete Vendor Prerequisites document and Scope of Work attachment for additional qualification requirements and evaluation criteria that may apply to responsive and responsible bidder determination. Award value or budget range information has not been disclosed in the posted opportunity materials and may be available upon request or in supplemental bid documents.
