Scope of Work Summary: Moon Ridge Fencing Project
This Scope of Work document is prepared by the State of Utah Division of Purchasing and the Wildlife Resources agency for the BD26-62 Moon Ridge Fencing Project. The project involves the removal and on-site stacking of 14,850 feet of T-post and barbed wire style fencing located on Moon Ridge in Northern Grand County, Utah, followed by the reconstruction of the same 14,850 feet of fencing using welded drill pipe and succor rod. The existing fencing materials will be stacked adjacent to the fence line at a location to be determined by the agency and awarded vendor. The contract term runs from March 15, 2026, through June 30, 2026. No mandatory site visit will be held prior to bidding; however, potential bidders are strongly encouraged to conduct their own site inspections to assess general and local conditions that may affect project costs. Failure to inspect the site shall not constitute grounds for claims after contract award. This Invitation for Bid (IFB) is anticipated to result in a single contract award to the lowest cost responsive and responsible vendor.
The vendor must guarantee its pricing for the entire duration of the contract. The project scope includes all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for fence removal, stacking, and reconstruction. No additional information regarding specific pricing terms, set-asides, incumbent status, or detailed funding sources is provided in this Scope of Work document.
