About this opportunity

The State of Utah Division of Purchasing, in coordination with the Division of Parks and Recreation, is seeking a qualified vendor to supply and deliver CIVITAS Fungicide to four state golf course locations in Green River, Sterling, and Midway. The procurement is structured as an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for a 5-year contract to provide fungicide in three specific container sizes: 2.5-gallon, 55-gallon, and 300-gallon totes. The estimated annual requirement is 500 gallons, with the awarded vendor serving as a secondary supplier to be utilized only when the primary contractor cannot fulfill fungicide needs. Key objectives include establishing a reliable fungicide supply chain for state park golf courses, with vendors required to guarantee pricing for one year and provide all-inclusive delivery costs. The solicitation will result in a single contract award to the lowest cost responsive and responsible bidder. Responses must be submitted through the U3P online portal by November 28, 2025, with no mandatory site visit required, though independent site inspections are strongly recommended.

There are no specific set-aside designations or restrictions limiting respondent types in this procurement. Vendors must certify compliance with Utah Code provisions regarding economic boycotts, Israel boycott restrictions, forced labor regulations, and restrictions on foreign entities. While no incumbent vendor is explicitly identified, the contract allows for potential price adjustments after the initial one-year pricing guarantee, requiring vendors to submit supporting market analysis documentation for any proposed increases. The procurement does not specify a precise budget range, but the annual estimated fungicide requirement of 500 gallons across four golf course locations suggests a moderate-scale contract. Potential bidders should note that no work may commence until a fully executed purchase order or contract is received, and all pricing information will be considered public information. The solicitation is governed by Utah Code Annotated 63G-6a and Administrative Code R33, ensuring a transparent and competitive procurement process.
