About this opportunity
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission is requesting bids for an Auto-Print 2 Plus automated pharmaceutical dispensing system, with responses due June 26, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. Central Time. The solicitation is issued on behalf of the Lubbock Serious Mental Illness Services Learning Collaborative with entitlement extended to the Department of State Health Services.
The scope covers one AP-3-115-2 unit (115-volt operation) including a pill chute, feed disk for capsules, one-year standard warranty, PakEdge 2.0 software upgrade, FirstDataBank UD one-year renewal, on-site installation, and one-day training. Bidders must submit firm, fixed prices with all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, and related expenses included in the unit rate; they must indicate whether shipping costs are included. Completed Exhibit A (HHS Solicitation Affirmations v. 2.10), Exhibit C (Pricing Sheet), and Exhibit D (Bid Execution Page) are mandatory; failure to submit any required document disqualifies the response. Bids must be in US dollars only.
The historical monetary value for the same or similar goods is $27,160.00 for the period September 1, 2025 through August 31, 2026, provided as a guideline only. The initial contract term runs from the date of award through August 31, 2026, with an extension option for up to one additional year at HHSC's sole discretion. Anticipated contract start is June 29, 2026.
Evaluation criteria include bidder's ability to meet specifications and performance delivery requirements, verification of past vendor performance through the CPA Vendor Performance Tracking System, demonstrated experience and financial capability, and pricing. HHSC reserves the right to make single or multiple awards to achieve best value and is not obligated to select the lowest-priced response. No vendor and HUB conference or courtesy HUB subcontracting plan review is scheduled. Questions are due June 16, 2026, with responses posted June 17. Submission through the optional HHS Online Bid Room requires prior registration via the IAMOnline system.
