About this opportunity
Baldwin County School District in Milledgeville, Georgia is requesting proposals for athletic trainer services for Baldwin High School under an RFP issued July 12, 2021, with proposals due August 12, 2021 at 10:00 a.m.
The scope covers afternoon services Monday through Friday and Saturday services for home events, including treatment and management of minor injuries to student athletes, referrals to local physicians for serious injuries, and communication with athletic personnel, school administrators, and parents as necessary.
The contract will begin upon award, with duration to be determined based on the district's needs and the selected contractor's agreement. The district reserves the right to terminate for convenience with thirty days' written notice.
Proposals must be submitted in three sealed copies—one original and two copies—organized into three sections: price, services provided, and a minimum of three references from clients for whom similar services were provided within the last ten years. The award will not be based on price alone; the district will select the most responsive and responsible contractor in its own judgment and best interest.
Contractors must comply with all Equal Opportunity Employer requirements, maintain drug-free workplace certification, and participate in the federal E-Verify program. All employees assigned to district facilities must submit drug test results and criminal background checks prior to assignment. Contractors must provide proof of required insurance within five days of written notification. The district is exempt from state sales tax and federal excise tax.
Vendors may be invited to conduct presentations following the proposal submission deadline.
