About this opportunity
Summit County is seeking proposals for a comprehensive Assessor and Treasurer management software solution through a non-exclusive Request for Proposals (RFP) released on March 3, 2025, with responses due by April 11, 2025. The procurement is specifically targeting a cloud-hosted or on-premise software system designed to support the operational needs of the County's Assessor and Treasurer's Office. Proposers can submit solutions for either office, though preferential treatment will be given to vendors capable of providing solutions for both departments. The RFP requires vendors to complete a detailed proposal spreadsheet featuring a functionality questionnaire, with vendors being held accountable for accurately representing their software's capabilities. Proposals must be submitted via email to summitsoftwarerfp@summitcountyco.gov, with full details available on the Summit County website under the 'Bids & Proposals' section. Potential bidders are encouraged to contact the County IS Department for additional project information or to request accommodations in the proposal submittal process.
The RFP does not explicitly mention specific set-aside designations or restrictions on respondent organizations. While the opportunity is open to software vendors specializing in government financial management systems, no specific provisions for disadvantaged business enterprises are highlighted in the current documentation. The procurement appears to be a standard competitive solicitation without predefined limitations on vendor type or size. No incumbent vendor information or specific budget range is provided in the available materials. Interested vendors should carefully review the full RFP documentation at https://www.summitcountyco.gov/bid_detail_T28_R80.php to understand the comprehensive requirements and evaluation criteria. Prospective bidders are advised to thoroughly document their software's capabilities, with the understanding that their proposal responses will be relied upon and used as a basis for potential contract award.
