About this opportunity
Alpine School District is requesting sealed bids for metal shop equipment at American Fork High School, with bids due July 28, 2026. The procurement is identified as ASD07282026DS and will be conducted through Utah Public Procurement Place (U3P) or Bonfire.
The scope comprises Miller FILTAIR fume extraction equipment: one MWX-D 7-foot arm unit, six SWX-D Single-Arm Package 7-foot arm units, and six SWX Dual-Arm Add-On Package units, all operating on 115VAC single phase. Equipment specifications are established to match existing shop equipment elsewhere within Alpine School District. All pricing must include shipping and handling to the Alpine School District Warehouse at 490 North State Street, Lindon, Utah 84042, which is equipped with truck-level docks, forklifts, and pallet jacks.
The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder capable of supplying all items. If no single vendor can supply the entire list, awards will be made on a line-item basis to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder for each item. The district reserves the right to conduct discussions with responsive vendors and request best and final offers.
All deliveries are F.O.B. destination with transportation paid by the contractor. The contractor must provide a one-year warranty covering product functionality, proper design and manufacture, and freedom from significant defects, with repair, replacement, or refund for nonconforming products. Contract pricing is guaranteed for a specified period; adjustment requests require thirty days' prior written notice with supporting documentation. The contractor must certify compliance with Utah Code Annotated 63G-6a and Administrative Code R33, including prohibitions on economic boycotts and boycotts of Israel (applicable if contract value exceeds $100,000 or the contractor has ten or more full-time employees). Pricing will be treated as public information; vendors may claim business confidentiality for other proprietary information through a redacted submission process.
