About this opportunity
The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) is seeking to contract with one or more qualified vendors to develop and produce a series of five (5) instructional videos about alcohol responsibility and safety. The videos will educate licensed alcohol retailers on the laws and requirements for selling alcohol to-go or for delivery directly to consumers, covering topics such as packaging, delivery, and responsible sales. The vendor must complete pre-production, production, and post-production activities, including narrative and concept development, script creation, filming, and delivery of the final approved videos with closed-captioning in English and Spanish. The project must be completed by September 27, 2024, with specific deliverable deadlines provided. Evaluation criteria include cost (40%), qualifications (30%), and experience (30%), and the TABC may conduct oral presentations and site visits with select respondents. Responses to the Request for Proposals (RFP) are due by August 15, 2024, and the TABC anticipates awarding the contract by August 23, 2024.
The RFP does not specify any set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. The contract will be awarded to the respondent that provides the best value to the state of Texas, with a not-to-exceed budget of $75,000 for the entire project. The TABC reserves the right to increase the award amount if additional funding becomes available. The contract will have an initial term from the date of execution to September 30, 2024, with an optional six-month extension.
