About this opportunity

The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) is seeking to contract with a qualified vendor to develop a 3- to 10-minute video instructing TABC-licensed businesses on holding safe and legal temporary events where alcohol is served. The video should prioritize informing parents and adult-aged hosts of their responsibilities related to preventing alcohol consumption by minors. The vendor must provide the primary video as well as 3-5 cutdowns for use on social media and the TABC website. The final approved productions must be delivered to TABC no later than September 30, 2024. The budget for the entire project may not exceed $25,000, and selection will be based on best value to the State of Texas, with evaluation criteria including cost (40%), qualifications (30%), and experience (30%). The RFP has a due date of August 8, 2024 at 4:00 PM Central Daylight Time.

The contract opportunity is open to all eligible companies, including out-of-state firms with the right to do business in Texas. No HUB subcontracting plan is required for this informal solicitation, and insurance requirements are at the discretion of the respondent's industry. The successful vendor must be able to meet the tight production timeline of approximately one month, as the project is funded by a grant with a September 30, 2024 end date. TABC reserves the right to increase the award amount if additional state or federal funding becomes available during the contract term, and may also elect to make a partial award or decline to make any award at its sole discretion.
