Aladdin Temp Rite

The Florida Agency for Persons with Disabilities is seeking to procure single and double cavity insulated disposable entree dishes and disposable side dishes from Aladdin Temp Rite for use in their residential care facilities. The required quantities are 2,000 cases of the entree dishes and 4,000 cases of the side dishes, with an estimated total value of $195,000 for the period from December 1, 2023 to June 30, 2026. The agency is justifying a single source procurement, as Aladdin Temp Rite is the only manufacturer and distributor of these inserts, which are necessary for the agency's current Aladdin Temp-Rite Skandia Model Foam Insulated Meal Delivery System. Prospective vendors have until November 13, 2023 to provide information regarding their ability to supply the required commodities, and the contract will be awarded to Aladdin Temp Rite if it is determined that the commodities are only available from a single source after reviewing any information received.

This procurement opportunity is limited to Aladdin Temp Rite, as the agency has determined that the insulated disposable entree dishes and side dishes are only available from this single source. The jurisdictions included in this contract opportunity are Leon County and the City of Tallahassee. The agency has not indicated any set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond, and there is no information provided about any existing incumbent vendors or current contractors.
