About this opportunity

The City of Dalton, Georgia solicited competitive sealed proposals for replacement of the Veeder Root system on airport fuel tanks under RFP AIR20231, with proposals due April 3, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at Dalton City Hall. This procurement closed with no bidders.

The scope covers delivery and installation of a Veeder Root replacement system for airport fuel tanks within one hundred twenty calendar days from contract execution. Project specifications were available through the City's website at www.daltonga.gov or by email request to awiersma@daltonga.gov.

No contract value or budget range is stated. Proposals received after the 3:00 p.m. deadline were ineligible. The City reserved the right to reject any and all proposals, waive informalities or irregularities, and accept the proposal deemed most qualified. Proposals could not be withdrawn within sixty days after the opening date.

The no-bid outcome indicates either absence of proposal submissions or rejection of all submissions as non-responsive, suggesting potential market-availability constraints, specification or timeline barriers, or other factors that deterred participation. The City would likely need to reassess project requirements, contract terms, or market conditions before reissuing.
