About this opportunity
Paragraph 1:
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is issuing a notice for a single source procurement of the Aircuity Optinet Assurance Monitoring and Sensor Replacement project. FDOT's State Materials Office requires the Aircuity Optinet Assurance Program, a Control Safety System, to test for safe and breathable air. FDOT intends to award a three-year contract to the sole authorized vendor in the Northeast Florida region, Nelson & Company, LLC, to provide maintenance and support services for this system at an estimated cost of $69,872. FDOT is posting this notice in accordance with Florida Statutes to allow other prospective vendors to provide information about their ability to supply the required services by December 2, 2022. The justification for the single source acquisition is that Nelson & Company is the only vendor authorized by the manufacturer to maintain and repair the Control Safety System in the specified region.
Paragraph 2:
This procurement is open to any qualified vendor that can demonstrate the ability to provide the required services. However, the contract will likely be awarded to a single source, Nelson & Company, LLC, as they are the only authorized vendor for the Aircuity Optinet Assurance Program in the Northeast Florida region. There are no set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. The estimated value of the three-year contract is $69,872, but the final award amount may vary based on the services provided.
