About this opportunity

The Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) is issuing an electronic Request for Proposals (eRFP) to establish an Agency Contract for a Centralized 911 Communication Solution across its statewide campus safety operations. The procurement seeks a qualified supplier to implement a dedicated 911 and dispatch hub that will serve 23 campus law enforcement agencies spanning 88 locations throughout Georgia. The primary objective is to create a centralized emergency communication center that ensures consistent, reliable, and coordinated law enforcement response across all TCSG college institutions. This procurement is being conducted under the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), with proposals due by September 26, 2025. Vendors requiring technical assistance with system registration or bid document access can contact the Department of Administrative Services (DOAS) Customer Service Help Desk by phone at 404-657-6000 or email at ProcurementHelp@doas.ga.gov, with support available Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding state holidays.

While specific set-aside designations or vendor restrictions are not explicitly detailed in the provided documentation, the procurement appears to be open to qualified suppliers capable of delivering a comprehensive 911 communication solution. The scope suggests a complex technological implementation requiring advanced emergency communication infrastructure and capabilities. No incumbent vendor information or specific budget ranges were disclosed in the original procurement notice. The solution will need to integrate with existing campus safety systems across 88 locations and support the technical and operational requirements of 23 distinct campus law enforcement agencies. Potential respondents should demonstrate extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining centralized emergency communication systems with proven reliability and interoperability across multiple geographic locations.
