About this opportunity
The State of Georgia, specifically Dade County, is soliciting bids for the Improving Neighborhood Outcomes Park, Sidewalk, & Trail Improvements project through an advertisement for competitive bidding. The procurement involves comprehensive park infrastructure development, including constructing park improvements, sidewalks, playgrounds, and asphalt trails, as detailed in the Construction Drawings. Sealed bids must be submitted electronically through QuestCDN.com by May 15, 2025 at 11:00 AM local time, with a 270 consecutive calendar day project completion timeline. Bidders are required to hold a valid Georgia General Contractor license, participate in the E-Verify program, and provide a bid bond or certified cashier's check for 10% of the base bid amount. Qualification criteria include compliance with federal affirmative action requirements and meeting specific bonding and performance standards. The project is funded through the Improving Neighborhood Outcomes in Disproportionately Impacted Communities (INODIC) Funds via the Governor's Office of Planning & Budget State Fiscal Recovery Fund (SFRF) grant program.
The procurement appears to have no specific set-aside designations for disadvantaged enterprises, though federal guidelines suggest potential opportunities for diverse contractors. Relevant permits, including a Land Disturbance Permit and Georgia Department of Transportation approval, have already been obtained for the project. Electronic bid submissions are mandatory, with base bid amounts to be published on the QuestCDN website within 30 minutes of the closing time. While specific budget ranges are not explicitly stated, the project's scope and funding source through the State Fiscal Recovery Fund suggest significant infrastructure investment. The project aims to improve neighborhood infrastructure and outcomes in Dade County, with a focus on creating accessible park and trail systems. Contractors interested in bidding must carefully review all project specifications, ensure compliance with federal and state requirements, and be prepared to demonstrate technical capability and financial stability to successfully execute the comprehensive infrastructure improvement project.
