About this opportunity

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) is seeking bids for the Northwest Florida Aquatic Preserves - Ellyson Warehouse Repairs project, identified by Bid No. BDC01-25/26. The procurement involves repair work for a warehouse facility, with a specific clarification that the building's ceiling height is approximately 14 feet at its highest point. Interested contractors must submit their bids to Alisha Sadler, Contracts Specialist, at the Bureau of Design and Construction located in Tallahassee, Leon County, Florida. The bid submission deadline is September 16, 2025, with an addendum (Addendum No. Two) requiring contractors to acknowledge receipt by signing and including the document with their bid package. Failure to properly submit the signed addendum may result in bid rejection. The project appears to be focused on warehouse repairs within the Northwest Florida Aquatic Preserves system, though specific detailed repair requirements are not fully elaborated in the available documentation.

While the procurement documents do not explicitly outline set-aside designations or specific contractor restrictions, the bid is open to contractors capable of performing warehouse repair work. No information is provided about incumbent vendors, existing infrastructure details, or specific budget ranges for the project. The procurement is limited to the geographical jurisdiction of Leon County, Florida, and is being managed directly by the state's Department of Environmental Protection. The addendum suggests a formal bidding process with specific submission requirements, indicating a structured procurement approach. Potential bidders should carefully review all project documentation and ensure compliance with submission guidelines to be considered for the warehouse repair contract.
