About this opportunity

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is seeking bids for the Indian Key Historic State Park Dock & Pavilion Replacement project, located in Leon County, under Bid No. BDC37-24/25. This procurement involves comprehensive dock and pavilion replacement work, with specific requirements including the removal and replacement of piling numbers 27 and 29. The project requires detailed construction and renovation services for a historic state park infrastructure, with precise engineering and construction specifications outlined in the revised bid package. Bidders must submit their proposals by March 13, 2025, to Logan Lee-Marple, Contracts Specialist at the Bureau of Design and Construction, located at 3800 Commonwealth Boulevard in Tallahassee. Potential contractors must acknowledge the addendum by signing and including it with their bid submission, with failure to do so potentially resulting in bid rejection. Interested parties can access the complete revised bid package through the DEP's public files website and are encouraged to direct any questions to Logan.LeeMarple@FloridaDEP.gov.

While specific set-aside designations are not explicitly detailed in the provided documentation, the procurement appears to be a standard competitive bidding process open to qualified construction contractors. No specific restrictions on organizational types or enterprise classifications were mentioned in the addendum. The project does not indicate an incumbent vendor or specify existing infrastructure integration requirements. Similarly, the documentation does not outline a specific budget range or award value for the dock and pavilion replacement project. Potential bidders should carefully review the complete bid package, which includes revised dock plans and specific construction requirements, to fully understand the scope and potential investment required for this state park infrastructure improvement project in Florida.
