A mandatory pre-bid meeting and site inspection are scheduled for August 5, 2025, at 9:30 am, with electronic bid submissions due by 2:00 pm on August 19, 2025, through the OpenGov eProcurement Portal. Bidders must complete Form MBD-40 Letter of Intent within ten working days of bid opening, demonstrating commitment to subcontractor diversity. The project has an estimated contract value of $125,000 and requires comprehensive insurance coverage, including Commercial General Liability (minimum $1M per occurrence), Automobile Liability, and Worker's Compensation. Contractors must comply with the City of Tampa's Diversity Management Initiative, which includes detailed tracking and reporting of subcontractor payments using Form MBD-30. The project involves integration with existing Convention Center infrastructure, with cables to be prepared for future access reader installations. Criminal history screening and public records compliance are additional requirements for potential contractors. While no specific WMBE participation percentages are mandated, the city demonstrates a strong commitment to promoting economic opportunity and diversity in this contracting opportunity.
