The scope covers removal and disposal of 12 existing HVAC units and air handling units, followed by furnishing and installation of 12 replacement units: one 4-ton, three 5-ton, three 6-ton, two 12.5-ton, and three Trane makeup air units with all required components, connections, electrical, and plumbing work. The project is located at 13943 E 8 Mile Road, Warren, Michigan 48089. All work must be completed no later than September 25, 2026, with construction to commence no fewer than 7 days after notice to proceed.
Bidders must submit one original, three printed copies, and one electronic copy of proposals; provide three references; submit prevailing wage certification, familial relationship disclosure, school safety affidavits, and Iran sanctions compliance certifications; and post a bid bond equal to 5 percent of the project amount. The successful contractor must provide a performance and payment bond for 100 percent of the bid amount, obtain all required permits at their own expense, comply with Michigan prevailing wage requirements and all state and local building codes, provide a one-year workmanship warranty, and furnish on-site training to school staff with operating manuals.
