The Marshall County School District in Mississippi is requesting sealed bids for a student cell phone security pouch solution. The district is seeking proposals for a complete system that includes 1:1 pouches for up to 1,700 students, unlocking bases for 4 secondary campuses, storage accessories, virtual training materials, and 12 months of customer support. Bids are due on Thursday, May 9th, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. and will be opened at the Marshall County School Central Office. The contract will be awarded to the vendor that best meets the district's needs based on 50% price, 25% recommendation letters, and 25% timely delivery. The RFP requires vendors to submit a total per unit cost as well as an overall cost for the system, with pricing to remain in effect for 12 months from the initial contract signing. The district reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive informalities, and award the contract to other than the lowest bidder if it is in the best interest of the district.

The RFP does not specify any set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. The document also does not list any incumbent vendors or current contractors, nor does it mention any existing infrastructure or technology that requires integration. The RFP does not provide a specific award value or budget range, but the district is seeking a comprehensive student cell phone security solution for its schools.
