Work includes installation of new signal posts and foundations, vehicle and countdown pedestrian signal heads with LED modules, Accessible Pedestrian Signal (APS) pushbuttons, signal cable, curb ramps, crosswalks, accessible paths to nearby bus stops, granite curb (431 linear feet total), cement concrete sidewalk (192 square yards), pedestrian curb ramps (165 square yards), temporary traffic control, and pavement markings. The project also involves excavation (147 cubic yards), fine grading, fine milling (215 square yards), superpave surface course placement (27 tons), asphalt patching, environmental health and safety program management, and disposal of regulated and hazardous soils. Contractors must comply with the 2026 Standard Specifications for Highways and Bridges, the 2015 Overhead Signal Structure and Foundation Standard Drawings, and the 11th Edition of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD).
