About this opportunity
The State of Nevada Purchasing Division on behalf of the Department of Transportation is soliciting vendor quotes for 3M Reflectors, with quotes due October 23, 2026. Nevada-based businesses providing goods produced in Nevada qualify for a five percent preference on quoted prices; vendors owned and operated by veterans with service-connected disabilities may receive an additional five percent preference on contracts valued between $50,000 and $500,000.
Vendors must submit quotes through the NevadaEPro electronic procurement system. The submission process requires vendors to complete General information, Items pricing details, Questions, Subcontractors, Notes, and Terms and Conditions tabs; accept all terms and conditions or document exceptions in writing; and upload supporting documentation including bid attachments and technical proposals prior to the deadline. Pricing must be entered as Unit Cost, Discount Percentage, and Freight without commas or special characters. The system allows vendors to indicate "No Charge" items or select "No Bid" for items they are not quoting. A confirmation email generates upon successful submission.
Quoted prices are FOB Destination, freight prepaid, and are irrevocable for the contract term and any extensions. The contract runs for not more than two years with potential annual extensions thereafter if conditions are specified and deemed in the State's best interest. The State pays within 30 to 45 days of invoice receipt and agency approval and will either pay applicable taxes or provide exemption certificates. All equipment must be new; brand names in the solicitation are for reference only and equivalent alternatives meeting or exceeding specifications may be considered. Vendors must carry automobile liability insurance with combined single limits of $1,000,000 if delivering commodities directly; this requirement is waived if shipment is by common carrier. Awards will be made to the lowest responsible bidder after evaluation of location, quality, total cost of ownership, conformity to specifications, and delivery dates.
