About this opportunity

The Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Engineering & Construction Division issued a Request for Quotes (eRFQ) under the State Purchasing Act to procure Precast Restroom Building Packages from a single qualified supplier. The solicitation, numbered 46200-DNR0000726 and titled "271- Precast Restroom Building Packages," was posted on September 7, 2023, with a submission deadline of September 26, 2023. Prospective bidders were required to register in the TEAM GEORGIA MARKETPLACE system to access complete specifications, attachments, and to submit bids electronically through that platform. Award was to be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder meeting the stated specifications. The procurement opportunity required bidders to comply with the State Purchasing Act regulations and prohibited vendors from communicating with state staff regarding the solicitation except through the designated Issuing Officer, Jennifer Polk, or as provided in existing contracts. All submissions were to be made electronically, and bidders were responsible for monitoring the RFQ regularly during the solicitation period for any posted addenda or answers to submitted questions.

This solicitation was cancelled on October 18, 2023, through the Notice of Cancellation (SPD_SPR014RFXCancellationNotice), as the State Entity determined the need to redevelop project requirements prior to rebidding. All materials and bids submitted in response to the original solicitation remain closed and will be secured pending the subsequent reissuance of the procurement. Prospective suppliers interested in bidding on the reissued solicitation will be required to respond to new bid forms and updated requirements to be considered for award. Upon issuance of a Notice of Intent to Award for the subsequent procurement, all records will be made publicly available in accordance with Georgia Procurement Manual guidelines. Interested vendors are advised to monitor the Georgia Procurement Registry for announcement of the reissued solicitation. No information regarding set-asides, disadvantaged enterprise designations, incumbent vendors, or estimated award values was disclosed in the original posting or cancellation notice.
