The contractor must have a certified master electrician with a class 2 electrical contractor license on staff during the contract term. The City intends to award a fixed price contract(s) as a result of this ITB, with a base term of one year and four one-year renewal options contingent upon annual appropriation of funds.

The ITB does not mention any set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. The contract will be awarded to a single contractor. Pricing details such as percentage mark-ups for materials and rental equipment, as well as hourly labor rates for both high voltage and low voltage work during regular and non-normal business hours, are provided in the bid schedule. The City will not reimburse contractors for overhead costs, which must be included in the labor rates. The City reserves the right to reject all bids and waive technicalities if it is in the best interest of the City. The incumbent vendor or current contractor is not specified.
