About this opportunity
Columbia County, Georgia is soliciting proposals through Request for Proposal (RFP) 2026005-RFP1313 for Disaster Debris Monitoring Services, with a deadline for submission on April 9, 2026. The County intends to award two separate pre-event contracts: one for Disaster Debris Management Services and another for Disaster Debris Monitoring Services. Qualified vendors must be capable of providing comprehensive disaster management, recovery, and consulting services to support the oversight and management of debris recovery contractors. Key services include damage assessment, monitoring, training, emergency planning, infrastructure restoration, facilitation of communication with FEMA, GEMA, and other state and federal agencies, coordination with state insurance representatives, pre-event planning, and post-event reconstruction and grant funding services. Vendors must be prepared to render the same services and costs to both incorporated and unincorporated areas of Columbia County, as well as to the Cities of Grovetown and Harlem should those municipalities elect to enter into pre-event contracts with the awarded vendor. The RFP was posted on March 4, 2026, and all full details and project documents are available through registration on the Columbia County Bonfire platform at https://columbiacountyga.bonfirehub.com.
The procurement opportunity does not specify set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise restrictions, or incumbent vendor information in the available materials. No award values or budget ranges are disclosed in the posted opportunity summary. All pre-event contracts must be mutually agreeable to both the County and the awarded vendor(s), and vendors should anticipate that contract terms and conditions may be negotiated individually with the municipalities. Interested parties should register with the Bonfire portal to access comprehensive project documents and any additional requirements, evaluation criteria, or submission instructions that may provide further details regarding qualifications, pricing expectations, and selection criteria for this disaster debris monitoring services contract.
