About this opportunity
Columbia County, Georgia is issuing Request for Proposal 2026004-RFP1313 to procure Disaster Debris Management and Monitoring Services through two separate pre-event contracts. The Columbia County Board of Commissioners seeks qualified vendors to provide all-inclusive disaster debris management and monitoring services to unincorporated and incorporated areas of Columbia County, including the Cities of Grovetown and Harlem. Vendors responding to this RFP must be prepared to render the same services and costs to all jurisdictions within Columbia County, with the intention that the two municipalities may independently enter into contracts with the awarded vendor(s) at identical pricing and terms. The procurement requires vendors to deliver comprehensive debris management solutions that meet both County standards and municipal requirements. Key evaluation criteria include the vendor's ability to provide responsive, qualified services; the reasonableness and competitiveness of proposed costs; and the vendor's capacity to serve multiple jurisdictions simultaneously under pre-event contract agreements. The deadline for proposal submission is April 9, 2026, and interested vendors must register with Bonfire at https://columbiacountyga.bonfirehub.com to obtain full project information and submit responses.
The RFP documentation does not specify set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise requirements, incumbent vendors, or specific budget ranges for this procurement opportunity. No information regarding minority-owned business enterprise (MBE), women-owned business enterprise (WBE), or other minority or disadvantaged business classifications is provided in the available materials. Similarly, no details regarding current contractors, existing infrastructure, technology systems requiring integration, or estimated award values are disclosed in the summary information. Interested vendors should access the complete solicitation documents through the Bonfire platform to identify any additional requirements, qualifications, or contractual conditions that may apply to this disaster debris management services procurement.
