About this opportunity
DuBois Integrity Academy is requesting proposals for a Food Service Management Company to operate school nutrition programs serving 1,200+ K-8 students across three locations, with proposals due June 15, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. and a pre-proposal meeting on May 28, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. EST. The contract runs for one year (July 1, 2026–June 30, 2027) with four optional one-year renewal terms; first day of service is August 5, 2026.
The scope encompasses meal preparation and service for the National School Lunch Program, School Breakfast Program, After School Care Program snacks, and a la carte offerings, with potential expansion to the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program, Seamless Summer Option, or Summer Food Service Program. DuBois Integrity Academy retains responsibility for procurement, purchasing, menu development, facilities, equipment ownership, USDA donated foods, and free and reduced-price meal eligibility determinations. The FSMC must provide employee payroll and workers' compensation insurance, with the SFA maintaining final approval over hiring of the highest-ranking FSMC employee.
Offerors must be Georgia-licensed (or willing to obtain such licensing), provide audited annual financial statements from a certified public accountant, demonstrate comparable NSLP and SBP program operations, and submit references from similar school systems. Proposals must be cost-reimbursable or fixed meal price. Evaluation criteria (100 points total) weight Cost & Financial Proposal at 30 points, with the remaining seven categories—Service Capability Plan, Experience and References, Doing Business with Like School Systems, Financial Condition and Stability, Accounting and Reporting Systems, Personnel Management, and Promotion of the School Food Program—each worth 10 points. Written questions are due June 15, 2026 to kbridgeforth@duboisintegrityacademy.com. The contract requires written approval from the Georgia Department of Education School Nutrition Division before execution and payment authorization.
