Demolition contractors must comply with MIOSHA requirements, provide air monitoring, furnish a written job-specific silica exposure plan, and obtain state demolition licensing. Bidders must have at least five years of successful experience on similar projects and demonstrate adequate financial resources.
Bid security of 5% of the base bid amount (certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond) is required with each proposal.
