About this opportunity
The State of Maine, Office of Information Technology, is requesting quotations for one-year HPE hardware support and maintenance services on twenty HPE ProLiant servers (models DL385 G7, DL380P G8, DL560 G8, DL380 G9, DL380 G10, and DL380 G7/G8) located in Augusta, Maine, with quotations due by 4:00 p.m. Eastern on March 14, 2023. Bidders must hold current HPE reseller or provider certification offering HPE Foundation Care with Collaborative Remote Support; HP print or computer certifications are not acceptable. This is a single-award contract with no multiple awards.
The scope requires onsite support with four-hour response time for hardware problem diagnosis and parts delivery. All disk drives must be registered under HPE Defective Media Retention, with the State retaining and destroying media rather than returning it to the vendor. Bidders must complete a two-tab Cost Response Sheet specifying acceptance or rejection of all seven stated requirements and entering annual cost per server for each of the twenty line items; failure to respond to all requirements disqualifies the response. Quotations must be submitted on company letterhead and include the completed Bid Cover Page and Debarment Form, itemized quote, product data sheets, and warranty information in Microsoft Word, Excel, or PDF format (maximum 2MB per file). Upon award, the vendor must register all equipment support coverage with HPE prior to current expiration and provide verification through support.hpe.com.
The contract term runs March 8, 2023, through March 7, 2024. The State evaluates on a best value basis considering quality, conformity to specifications, and delivery; award follows lowest price among conforming bidders. Quotations remain valid for 180 days from bid opening. Payment terms are net 30.
