About this opportunity
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is seeking applicants for a cooperative agreement to implement evidence-based health promotion programs for Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) or Tourette Syndrome (TS). The grant has three main objectives: to improve understanding, management, and access to services for people with ADHD or TS; to strengthen the capacity of healthcare and education professionals; and to reach diverse audiences. Applicants must devise, disseminate, and evaluate public health communication and education tools and products. The application deadline is April 15, 2024.
This grant opportunity is part of the Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities - Prevention and Surveillance program (CFDA 93.073) and offers up to $9.75 million over five years, with two awards - one for ADHD and one for TS. The award floor is $850,000 per budget period per component, and the award ceiling is $850,000 for ADHD and $1,100,000 for TS. The grant does not support clinical care, and recipients would collaborate with the CDC to strengthen understanding and management of these conditions and reduce disparities in related diagnosis and care.
