feet each. Temporarily remove and reinstall the existing lightning-protection system in its

original locations and configuration with new clips securing it; complete specified testing and

certification. Repair approximately 150 linear feet of the existing movable stanchion-andrope warning-line barrier. Replace the penthouse roof-access ladder to meet applicable VA

safety requirements and OSHA criteria. Install 3-foot by 3-foot walking pads with 8-inch clear

gaps along approximately 600 linear feet of total walkway route, including gaps. Provide

positive drainage to roof drains and scuppers throughout all reroofed areas. Standing water

shall not remain more than 48 hours after rainfall ends under conditions conducive to drying.

Correct low spots and other drainage deficiencies that prevent compliance before final

acceptance.

approximately 40 square feet each. Field-verify openings and provide complete watertight

installations. Before fabrication, submit contractor shop drawings and supporting structural

calculations signed and sealed by a licensed structural engineer responsible for their
