The contract is a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) contractors, with an estimated contract value between $100,000 and $250,000. The place of performance is Building 13 at the Coatesville VA Medical Center, with work to be completed within a 60-day performance period from the Notice to Proceed. Contractors must work Monday through Friday between 7 AM and 5 PM, using a 12x30 secured construction laydown area and providing their own tools, transportation, and facilities. The project requires installing a hydraulic dock lift with specific safety features, including handrails, safety chains, warning decals, and rubber bumpers. Contractors must be verified through the Center for Veterans Enterprises and adhere to national, state, and local building codes. The lift comes with a 10-year structural warranty and 2-year parts and labor warranty, with specific technical requirements for electrical systems, concrete work, and installation parameters.
