About this opportunity

The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 2 seeks automatic opposing swing doors with installation services for the Buffalo VA Medical Center, with quotations due July 10, 2026, at 12:00 PM. The procurement is set aside exclusively for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs).

Place of performance is 3495 Bailey Avenue, Buffalo, New York 14215. The contract consists of supply, installation, and shipping of one automatic opposing swing door assembly with bi-folding automatic doors, to be completed no later than October 1, 2026. The Government will handle removal of existing doors and frame and electrical integration.

Contractors must demonstrate a minimum of five years of documented experience installing commercial automatic door systems in healthcare facilities, complete at least three similar projects within the past five years, and maintain AAADM certification or equivalent. Doors must be constructed from anodized aluminum (6063T5 or T6) with 1/4-inch tempered safety glass, equipped with motion sensors for touchless operation, 120 VAC power requirement, and ADA-compliant safety features with overhead concealed operator mounting. Work is restricted to Saturdays and Sundays only. A minimum one-year warranty on labor and materials is required.
