About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Global Strike Command seeks rebuild of four XJF151N compressors, with quotes due September 2 and questions due August 27. This is a Total Small Business set-aside, foreclosing competition outside that category.
Place of performance is Abilene, Texas (Dyess AFB). The work requires complete rebuild of four compressors currently at Dyess AFB Building 5204, including replacement of internal seals and all gaskets, with functional checks performed in strict accordance with the Frick Service Manual (Form S70-452 SM). All replacement parts must be genuine Frick OEM parts; aftermarket or substitute parts are prohibited. Offerors must demonstrate capability by providing active Frick-certified technician credentials or proof of past Frick XJF rebuilds completed within the last five years, such as past invoices or references, along with a written statement showing familiarity with Frick-specific tooling and tolerances.
The contractor is responsible for all shipping costs to and from Dyess AFB and secure storage of the compressors at the contractor's facility. Pricing must be submitted separately for parts, labor, and shipping. The performance period is negotiable, allowing offerors to propose alternative delivery dates. Replaced parts are treated as production scrap and disposed of by the contractor at their own facility in accordance with local commercial and environmental regulations at no additional government cost. Any rework required due to non-compliance with SOW standards is performed at no additional cost to the Government.
Technical evaluation criteria include capability and approach, brand name parts certification, logistics and storage plan, and warranty and communications terms. Payment terms are NET 30, FOB Destination. The NAICS code is 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Repair and Maintenance. Quotes must be submitted via email to cade.watson@us.af.mil and trevor.finch.1@us.af.mil.
