About this opportunity

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration has issued a Special Notice for a lease renewal of the International Plaza Executive Director Office located in Nashville, Tennessee. The procurement is being conducted under FAR 6.302-1 for a single responsible source, targeting a specific real estate opportunity. The VA intends to lease 10,593 rentable square feet (9,007 ANSI/BOMA) with a minimum of 100 parking spaces within defined geographical boundaries that include I-40, I-24, Harding Place, and Donelson Pike. The lease term is specified as ten years, with five years being firm and five years non-firm. The space must be available for occupancy by September 30, 2026.

The Special Notice is primarily focused on soliciting interest from Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) and Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) for this lease renewal project. Interested firms must be registered in VA's Vendor Information Pages (VIP) and the System for Award Management (SAM.gov), with the ability to demonstrate experience in federal leased or healthcare facilities. The VA will evaluate potential alternative spaces based on economic advantages, considering factors such as relocation costs and infrastructure requirements, with a legal limitation to pay no more than the appraised fair rental value for the space.
